Refund policy

At Equator Gourmet, we take great pride in providing our customers with premium-quality Bourbon vanilla beans sourced directly from Uganda. Each batch is carefully inspected to ensure freshness, aroma, and authenticity. However, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of vanilla beans, we accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The product arrived damaged, contaminated, or not as described.

  • You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • The item must be unused, and in its original sealed packaging.

If eligible, please contact us at equatorgourmet@gmail.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description. Our team will respond promptly with return instructions.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, a full or partial refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days.

  • Refunds will not be issued for taste preferences, moisture variation within stated ranges (25–30%), or misuse of the product.

 

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or used vanilla beans

  • Custom bulk or wholesale orders unless damaged or incorrect

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, contact us with your order details.
